Flora The humid forest Montano in Llaviuco (the eastern border) is composed of a variety of plant species. These include: huahual, pichul, sarar, pacarcar, pumamaqui, huicundos, many orchid species, ferns, moss, liana, etc. The very humid forest Montano is found in the extreme west of the Park. Flora in this area includes straw, cubilan, valerian, contrahierba, tushig, romerillo, chuquiragua, licopodios, ferns, moss, and red, white, and black quinua trees. The quinua tree represents the vegetable species of the Park. |
